Rebecca and Duncan’s Ellingham Hall Wedding, they tied the knot at The Parish Church Of Saint Aidan Bamburgh.
Rebecca spent the night before her wedding in the amazing Ellingham Hall, she woke up in a spectacular room with chandeliers and golden mirrors. Ellingham Hall has to be one of my favourite venues, it is full of personality and charm. When you book a wedding at Ellingham Hall you book the whole place for you and your guests, so you can pretend you own the place!
It was a very calming atmosphere on the morning of Rebecca’s wedding as she sipped champagne with her bridesmaids. I hung her beautiful dress from the chandelier and it was stunning! It had a lace top, with 3 quarter length sleeves, it was elegant and contemporary. This fitted dress really showed off Rebecca’s figure and she looked amazing in it.
Rebecca’s face lit up as her flowers arrived at her Ellingham Hall Wedding
with red berries, thistles and romantic red roses it was exactly what Rebecca had envisaged. Rebecca was over the moon with her flowers from The Flower Basket
Duncan and his groomsmen were not too far away, and Greta my second Photographer captured the moment when Duncan received a pocket watch from Rebecca. Duncan is in the Royal Navy and it was a treat to see all the men in uniform! We lined them up outside of the Grand building and captured some group shots.
Rebecca’s dad proudly walked her down the Aisle at Saint Aidan’s in Bamburgh, they were greeted by a bagpipe player and Rebecca walked Gracefully into the Church which dates back to the 12th Century! After tying the knot in a moving ceremony Rebecca and Duncan walked under large swords and were sprinkled with confetti!

It was quite a chilly day and was very impressed that Rebecca fancied going to the beach to get some pictures, they ran around to keep warm and enjoyed some quiet moments together on the beach, I had fun playing around with reflections and capturing Bamburgh Castle in the background.
Rebecca and Duncan arrived back at their Ellingham Hall Wedding with style, standing up in their chauffeur driven vintage car, they waved at their guests as everyone cheered their arrival, it was a brilliant moment.
Rebecca and Duncan had lots of activities to keep their guests amused, from beer pong to a photo booth provided by me! One of their friends even played some tunes on the piano in a side room, as other guest partied on the dance floor. Ellingham Hall is a brilliant venue, as there are gorgeous side rooms if guests want to take a break from the dancing and have some quiet time there is always somewhere for them to go.
Rebecca surprised Duncan with a spectacular ship that was made with chocolate!
As if that wasn’t amazing enough, she then lit it with sparklers, it looked fantastic and his face was a picture! They then cut the cake which had little figurines on the top which were based on Rebecca and Duncan. They were uncanny! Brilliant likeness, and so creative at this Ellingham Hall Wedding.
The party continued into the night and I was lucky enough to take some pictures of Duncan and Rebecca at night in front of the beautiful building. I also took the opportunity to play around with some off-camera flash with the groomsmen as they posed for a ‘hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil’ themed picture.
It was such a fun wedding at a brilliant Ellingham Hall Wedding, I feel very honoured to have been chosen to take their photographs. Rebecca and Duncan are currently renovating a house, I wish them all the luck in the future and I am sure they will be happy in their new home.
