Back at one of my favourite venues for Emily and Jame’s wedding. I felt I really got to know them as we did their engagement photoshoot.

We meet at the Tavern Bar and sat in the spot where they had their first date. How cute is that! Emily is originally from the States.  It was fun learning about her life and how she worked in show business! I think she will settle into the North East perfectly.

Healey Barn is a great choice for a wedding.

it has so much character inside from the gorgeous chandeliers and the exposed brick work. I also love how the building is an L shape/. You have the ceremony in one section and the reception in the other part. This means that the room doesn’t need changing over.

There is also tonnes of outside open space. There is a beautiful meadow with the cutest windmill and a little pond. Up the road is also a stunning forest. With huge trees, which is just perfect for pictures. We went to the forest just before sunset, we were lucky enough to get the sun just poking through the trees which was beautiful.

There is also a plenty of outside space for your guests to mingle, with a courtyard and seating areas doted around.

I loved what Emily did to the tables, beautiful white flowers and foliage, it wasn’t too much the simplicity worked perfectly and worked well with the rustic theme to the venue. Massive shout out to Bels flowers who did a fantastic job. Emily went for stunning white dress that had beautiful lace up the back and at the bottom, it was very elegant and suited Emily perfectly.

      Congratulations Emily and James.
