I was thrilled when Susan and Scott asked me to photograph their wedding at Jesmond Dene House.

Susan got ready in Jesmond Dene House in the loft room, we had plenty of space, and I enjoyed photographing her stunning dress by the window. Susan was over the moon with her flowers and had clearly spend a long time researching exactly what she wanted and she managed to mind a brilliant florist. Flori & Fern did a fantastic  job, it has to be one of the prettiest bouquets I have ever photographed. It was filled with soft pink colours and and berries.

It was a very calming atmosphere as Susan got ready with her bridesmaids. Susan has the most beautiful long golden hair which she chose to wear down and have it curled.

After applying her channel perfume her mother helped her into her necklace which was a beautiful moment at Jesmond Dene House.

Jesmond Dene House has a large room with high ceilings and huge windows, it is the perfect place for a wedding ceremony. The large fireplace and wooden panelling add character. The golden golden glow from the floor lamps back lit Susans hair and she looked amazing walking down the aisle.

Later we were able to take a large group photograph of everyone in the garden on the grand staircase at Jesmond Dene Hotel.

My assistant zoomed in on people capturing Susan and Scotts cheering and having fun.

I had fun photographing the bridesmaids in Jesmond Dene’s gardens, there were flowers everywhere. The bridesmaids had fun running and skipping around and it was easy to capture them laughing.

later in the evening the Postmodernists played and had many people up and dancing, it was a beautiful day and the perfect venue.
