Josh and Lou chose the gorgeous Minsteracres for their wedding ceremony. A spectacular Grade II listed building surrounded by stunning giant redwoods.

The Church at Minsteracres Retreat was like nothing I have ever seen before, the ceiling was magnificant with colourful decorated tiles and yellow walls. The Parish St Elizabeth is such a pretty church and perfect for a wedding ceremony.  From Minsteracres it was a short drive to the reception at Derwent Sailing Club. This was a special place for Josh, as he spent most of his childhood here, with the rest of his sailing-mad family. The speeches went down well, and the pea-shooter wedding favours added an interesting dynamic for anyone unfortunate enough to be a standing target!

Josh and Lou’s first dance was a work of art, perfectly choreographed and executed.

The same probably couldn’t be said for the Ceilidh that took place afterwards, though the enthusiasm certainly couldn’t be questioned. We also had a lot of fun for Josh and Lou’s shoot down by the reservoir, even though I did end up a little wet and muddy. What a silly place to put a giant puddle! Thank you for making me part of your special day, Minsteracres is such a fantastic location for a wedding. lots of love, Lindsey X Minsteracres Wedding Retreat.
