The Old Deanery Ripon
‘We finally got to marry each other after being together for 17 years! (2 kids, a house and 2 dogs later!) We chose The Old Deanery after visiting it a few times we fell in love with it and knew it would be perfect for our intimate wedding we had always imagined.’ Katey & Johann
The Old Deanery in Ripon was the venue for Katey and Johann’s perfect wedding. Katy looked divine in her lace-backed dress, with the perfectly crafted beading, courtesy of her mother. The day was a lovely family affair, with Katey and Johann’s daughter and niece looking adorable as the flower girls.

The Old Deanery in Ripon HG4, sitting opposite Ripon Cathedral, is a stunning Grade II listed building, dating back to the 17th century and providing a perfect setting for the day.
The grounds were looking spectacular, as Autumn was just beginning to take hold. The giant willow tree was perfect for the couple’s shoot, and the groomsmen had some fun there too. I love willow trees, I’ll grab any opportunity for a shoot around these mystical backdrops. There is also a gorgeous garden room at the back of the hotel.
Katy added ivy vines to the chairs and long tables, a personal touch which really set the room off, and expertly complemented the centrepieces. Katey’s stunning bouquet was by The Twisted Willow Floristry who did a fantastic job! It was a wonderful day, thank you so much, Katey and Johann, for making me part of it, Lindsey X
