How much time should we set aside for portraits on the wedding day?

Ideally, around 45 minutes to an hour for portraits.  This can all be spread out over the course of the day, so maybe 20 minutes after the ceremony, and another 20 minutes later in the evening to catch the golden light. I don’t like to take you away from your celebrations for too long, and I tend to work around whenever the light is best. Alternatively you can choose to have your portraits taken after the wedding day. Then you can spend as long as you want and visit different locations.
